Melinda Cantu received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance at the University of Central Oklahoma where she was also a member of Oklahoma’s first professional jazz dance company, R.A.C.E Dance Company.  After receiving her degree, Melinda moved to Los Angeles, where she signed with Clear Talent Group, one of LA’s most prestigious dance agencies. Melinda has worked with artists such as Beyoncé, Afro Jack, The Cataracs, Shwayze, Twista, Victoria Justice and Trace Adkins to name a few.  She traveled on a 2 year World Wide Tour dancing for Sky Blu, from the Grammy Nominated Duo LMFAO.  Melinda has worked with many celebrities including, David Arquette, Wilmer Valderrama, George Lopez, Metta World Peace, and Jay Leno. Melinda has taught at many performing arts High schools in the DFW area. She travels to teach and set choreography on many studios and is so excited to take on the new role of Pre- Pro Director at The Sparks Academy of Dance. Melinda is thrilled to be able to spread her dance knowledge and passion by teaching and she continues to thrive in the professional dance industry.  Melinda hopes that her love and passion for dance will inspire others to pursue their dreams as well.
